Books, brochures, packaging and some other bits and bobs

Take the world’s best rum, a sci-fi obsessed Master Rummelier distiller and free rein to rebrand a range of premium spirits and Many Worlds is where you end up. A name inspired by quantum theory, bottle back-label stories that are each a snapshot of much bigger, mysterious narrative and a stunningly quirky visual world created by Tim McAllister. We named, wrote and designed this beautifully bonkers brand, egged on by Tasmania’s stellar Bennett agency and navigated by our sector-bending genius clients, Tarrant Derksen and Clara Ho.

The Wilderly is a development of 250 or so luxury apartments set in a lush private garden and surrounded by Elephant Park, central London’s latest large green space. It’s a new way to experience living in the city - just moments from its true heart, yet in a beautiful, park-side location. Selected brochure pages.

Belfast Stories is a complex project rooted in a simple idea. By gathering the individual stories of the people who have lived in or visited Belfast, it hopes to capture its unique spirit. The focus for it will be in a converted, iconic city centre building that used to be a bank. I wrote the tone of voice for Belfast Stories and messaging for the City Council’s consultation document, some of which is shown here.

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) is a specialist agency within the United Nations. It promotes the shared global use of the radio spectrum, facilitates international cooperation in assigning satellite orbits and works to improve telecommunication infrastructure in the developing world. Each year it hosts an annual conference, ITU World, where international leaders and commercial organisations discuss and debate the future of global communication. I worked on four consecutive ITU World’s, writing copy for event branding, delegate invitations and the conference brochure. The work shown here was for ITU World 2014.
